Leading our team is managing director, Joe Burke. With over 20 years experience in electrical installations, lighting design and smart home automation, Joe is a fully qualified electrician and the companies appointed NICEIC qualified supervisor.

Although now well established, the family run business has been deliberately kept small in order to maintain a personal service where quality and attention to detail are paramount.

Following the birth of their first child, Joe Burke and his wife relocated the company from London to Lymington in the New Forest, to be closer to family and enjoy life by the sea.

Following some very successful years in the entertainment industry, Joe decided to venture into residential and commercial lighting design. “My aim was to bring my knowledge and experience to the two areas which I felt could benefit greatly from well designed lighting“.

1998
Joe set up on his own working as a freelancer for numerous broadcasting and entertainment companies, including the BBC, ITV, Disney and a number of Hollywood feature film productions. During the following years he expanded his lighting design work out into other areas including event and corporate lighting. At the same time progressing from his role as a technician into production head of lighting and electrical design.

Pinewood Studios Apprenticeship

1994
Joe Burke began his professional lighting and electrical career in the 90’s as a technician in the film, TV and entertainment industry, undertaking an apprenticeship at the world famous Pinewood Studios.
